Perspective - a particular way of viewing something, influenced by your experiences, beliefs, or position, seeing a situation in relation to others to understand it's true importance.
For the first time in a while I struggled to identify what my “word of the year” would be for 2026. I’ve been using “reset” as a placeholder bc I knew at some point that spirit would led me to the word that truly resonates with me this year. Thanks to your beautiful words, I’ve found it this morning in Perspective. Its perspective that reminds me it’s just a bad day, not a bad life. Its perspective smiling back at me from the childhood photo I have hung by my mirror. 🥺
“This system is designed to make you doubt yourself at every turn. Even in the biblical story of Adam and Eve, everything was given simply because they existed. Even after the so called disobedience, when they were removed from Eden, the ability to co create with the Divine remained.” I have sooooo many thoughts about this right here lol
Lmaoooo...nothing in this world actually has to cost anything. People stress, die, kill, lie over constructs. Things that are made up by those who have gained "power". At times when I'm meditating on stable home and ways I can build myself up economically after being pushed out of my job in a way where I can share my gifts in integrity...it's like I wouldn't have to figure that out IF things were as they were meant to be. As you stated, all Adam and Eve had to do was exist and they had an abundance. Now, we must lose ourselves to gain "abundance" of the material world; which is actually just comfort when we think about the cost of living. Everyday someone sells their soul for a 9-5. I know, I did it when I was working (Overtime, heavy loads, etc) and for what? The construct/capitalism. System was built to make us doubt ourselves, lose ourselves, and never return to ourselves or else we risk homeless and instability. That's what people have to decide between. That's what people like me weren't even given a decision to do because it is our path and I know it will work out because I tried so hard to make the other way work. However, I have such strong empathy for people who are stuck in the rat race and don't even realize it and even more empathy for those who do realize it, but cannot leave it. Then, ANGER comes when I remind myself.."all these bills are made up" (ok, rant over and don't blame me...you said you wanted to hear it all lol)
Oh this was good Rachael! Perspective makes the world of difference in our reality and I love the way you made it so clear. Now let me go get some tissue to dry my eyes.
